MISSION STATEMENT: To influence education in Mississippi by providing leadership to improve instruction and supervision and promote sound curriculum development principles.
PURPOSES:	To have a large, diverse, involved membership that represents all school districts, public and private, in the state, said membership reflecting the diversity of Mississippi educational professionals in terms of age, gender, job role, ethnicity, race, and geographic location. To have a strong, proactive representative Executive Board. To provide innovative, quality programs that meet the varied needs of educators throughout the state.
